Fall/ Winter 09 Key Looks

This Fashion week has just displayed what everyone will be wearing this fall and winter season. these are the hit trends noticed on the runways. 

Over-the-knee  and Over-the-thigh boots

This season these boots will make you stand out of the crowds even in the dull and dark colors of fall and winter.

Ripped tights and stockings

These are usually a sign of a sloppy job getting ready or a careless person but not this fall. They're now not only socially acceptable but a new part of fashionable grunge. 

One-shouldered dresses and tops

The possibilities are endless. This cut is a subtle sexy way to show a little skin

 in the wint

er months and a very good eye catcher. 

Military Clothing

The military jacket makes a comeback in fall/winter 09. It can be rocked up or worn as a regular jacket but its definitely a great addition to your wardrobe. 

Leather Clothing

Leather is taking every-form this season. Pants, Skirts, Tops, Coats. Everything leather.

Canadian model Noot Seear will be playing the part of Heidi a member of the Volturi Army in next months, New Moon. You may know her face from an Alexander Wang show,a few seasons back; wearing the very popular sequin sweatshirt. Look for Noot in theatres on November 20, when New Moon premieres. We know she can rock the runway but what about everyones favorite saga?

TAKING.WOODSTOCK

Recently we saw the Ang Lee movie, Taking Woodstock.  We came in expecting to see a movie full of musical performances at Woodstock.  Instead the movie focuses on Demtitri Martins character running his parents Inn.  Taking Woodstock was centered around Martins characters struggles and the people he met, rather than the concert.  The playlist of the movie was still great, but it left us wanting more of Woodstock.  Even though the movie dragged on during certain parts it was still entertaining.  Jonathon Groffs (Spring Awakening) characters vest and curly hair were the highlight of the movie for us!
