CONTROVERSY.

In a recent issue of Parisian Vogue model Lara Stone was photographed with a dark skin tone which sparked all kinds of press, and not necesarilly the good kind! People were offended because they took the photo to resemble "black face" or when famous performers used to paint their faces black to perform something an African American poet, composer, etc had created. Though it was a way to show respect to the artist back then, nowadays that would not be acceptable. I personally think that the whole situation was blown out of control because why would Parisian Vogue ever want a fashion shoot to reflect that? The theme of the clothing seems to require a golden brown tone and it adds a lot of drama to the photos and I think they would be very dull without it. Song this controversy reminded me to listen to;
